Sakura is a popular high school girl who doesn't feel any romantic interest in any of the boys in her school. She travels back in time to 1864 and encounters the Shinsengumi, heroes of numerous romantic television dramas. The Shinsengumi were a group of samurai (all young and good-looking) who fought crime and upheld the rule of the Shogun in per-restoration Kyoto.
