Instead of becoming a prostitute, Kate decides to ran away. Then, she met the kidnapped Earl's daughter and was taken to the kidnapper's den. Feeling a bad atmosphere and in spite of Rose's dissuasion, Kate risked her life to escape, which led to Rose's rescue.

Rose begs to want to bring Kate, but Countess refuses because of her origin. But, Alec defeats the Countess's opposition and allows Kate to enter the Earl's family.
