Trapped in the alterverse, Ed can't seem to find any way to get home to Al. Falling into dispair, he turns to alcohol to dull the pain... Meanwhile alterverse Al watches the one he loves degenerate, caring for him the best he possibly can. One night, in a liquor-induced haze, Ed reaches out for Heidrich and calls his name... he answers even though he knows he's not really the one Ed wants.
