There's 2 stories:

The first is about a 14 year old girl, Yumiko, whose father dies under supposedly unsuspicious circumstances, but she sees her mother laughing the day he dies, and almost immediately she takes a much younger lover. It's the school holidays and her friends Mika and Tatsumi come with her to her holiday home. Then, a shopgirl dies suspiciously and there's a big investigation and it seems to be pointing to someone in her home...

The second one is about a girl Lilia, who can see through mirrors into the future. When she is little she goes with her father (her mother is dead) to live with her half-brother who adores her and rich grandmother (on her mother's side) who doesn't accept them and tries to separate her from her half-brother. That night, she sees her grandmother killed in a mirror but can't see by whom. One of the servants is convicted of the murder but claims his innocence. He has a son, Dean. Then it's back to the present and she encounters Dean and falls in love with him without realizing who he is. She blames herself for the servant being arrested, and when she realizes who Dean is she feels really guilty but her half-brother dislikes him. Then, she sees a premonition of herself being strangled, but can't see by whom...
